H2home technology was created to offer storage services of renewable energy for the residential, commercial and PMI. Advantages and Performance of the system

H2home technology uses electricity from renewable sources not used instantly by the user to produce green hydrogen from simple demineralized water (rainwater), through an innovative patented electrolysis technology. The hydrogen produced is stored in high pressure tanks and subsequently converted into electricity when needed, using a fuel cell. This last component certifies the micro cogeneration plant. In the transformation, the H2home system also produces hot water at 45 °C.

During the production of electricity from renewable sources, the electronic home automation system, fully automated and with predictive functions integrated into H2home, analyzes the consumption of utilities by distributing energy or producing hydrogen:

• if the consumption is greater than production then the surplus of energy required is supplied by fuel cells if hydrogen is available, otherwise from the grid if the tank is empty.
• When consumption is lower than the energy produced, the surplus it is used for the production of hydrogen that is stored in the tank.

H2home system can be interfaced to a heat pump or sanitary water storage by optimizing the production of hot water and facilitating a thermal flywheel favoring electric or thermal storage depending on the weather and outside temperatures, thus increasing the COP* performance of the system. In the event of a blackout, the system starts automatically producing the electricity needed to power the main utilities such as lighting, alarm, refrigerators and PCs.
